Role:

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with CHE Behavioral, you will have the opportunity to work with older adult patients in a compassionate and cost-effective manner. Our clinicians provide quality clinical services to improve the quality of life for our patients, and we are seeking a motivated and experienced LMHC to join our team. This is a part or full-time position, with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities:

Provide evidence-based mental health counseling services to older adult patients in long-term care and rehabilitation centers Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient Implement and evaluate treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and social workers, to provide comprehensive care Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatment and progress Participate in professional development and continuing education to stay current with industry best practices

Requirements:

Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field Current LMHC licensure in the state of New York 1+ year of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other digital tools
