Modern Therapy + Counseling D e s c r i p t i o n: We are looking for a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit holder (LMHC-LP) to join our team. We are part of a growing Holistic Wellness Collective in Plattsburgh, NY and are eager to expand in 2026. This is a part-time independent contractor position with three full days available in a private office. In-person and remote administrative support will be available. This position is for in-office treatment only; telehealth and/or remote treatment candidates will not be selected. We are seeking a long-term clinician who is willing to establish oneself in the local area and grow within the Collective. Q u a l i f i c a t i o n s : The ideal candidate will want to grow with

T and work with patients from our waitlist while also accruing their own clients and following specific to their therapeutic strengths. They will have a theoretical framework rooted in Trauma theory(ies) with a desire to treat clients from such a lens. Candidate must be experienced in EMDR or willing to receive Level I and II training while also interweaving ego-state interventions. Experience with or a strong interest in IFS (Internal Family Systems) is highly valued, as the position is centered around integrating trauma-informed approaches including EMDR and IFS therapies. Candidate must be willing to receive consultation/supervision with Clinical Director on a weekly basis. Continued supervision after initial trial period will depend on skills and necessary training/comfortability in working with clients from a trauma framework. Must be a team player and willing to coordinate care with other Therapists, as well as other practitioners within the Collective, including but not limited to Acupuncture and Massage Therapy. We will provide all necessary components for success: a beautiful office, EMDR equipment, office supplies, HIPAA compliant storage, communication and EHR platforms, marketing and consultation to hone your skills and grow as a therapist. In-person and remote administrative support will also be available. E d u c a t i o n : A Master's degree or higher and recognized by NYS as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit holder. Mentorship will co-occur alongside education/supervision requirements as it is fundamental to professional growth as a therapist. This position is for an independent contractor with a desire to obtain and utilize a specific skill set involving the EMDR and IFS trauma frameworks; professional liability insurance to be obtained independently. Marriage/Relationship and Child/Adolescent Therapists also encouraged to apply. R e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s : Candidate will be responsible for patient scheduling, intake, treatment, patient care, goals assessment and attainment, and coordination of care with desired Practitioners both in and outside the Practice. You will function as a clinician with weekly supervision and be responsible for your clients' wellness and overall experience. You must be able to assess client needs and tailor your knowledge to support short- and long-term health. This is an in-office clinical position. Candidates must be available for two to three full days of in-person treatment in the private office. Telehealth and/or remote treatment requests will not be selected for this position. C o m p e n s a t i o n : $40-$60 per client hour (commission pay based on patient volume & experience). This is an independent contractor position. The ideal candidate will be motivated to build a strong caseload while developing their own professional identity and therapeutic skill set within a supportive and collaborative environment.
