Full-Time Substance Use Disorder Counselors Community Action Against Addiction (CAAA), a respected Medication-Assisted Treatment facility in the heart of Mid-Town Cleveland, is looking for compassionate, motivated professionals who are ready to make a meaningful difference. Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Substance Use Disorder Counselors who bring clinical skill, empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for serving people in recovery. Qualifications:

A valid State of Ohio Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDCII or LCDCIII), Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW). A Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credentials are highly preferred. Experience in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment is essential for success in this role. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and committed to supporting patient engagement, retention, and positive treatment outcomes. Candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and undergo a comprehensive background check to ensure the safety and integrity of our clients.

Skills and Competencies:

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are critical, with a focus on empathetic listening and fostering trust with clients. Ability to conduct thorough assessments of client needs and develop tailored treatment plans accordingly. Strong organizational skills to manage case documentation and maintain accurate records efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and standard office software applications is required for daily operational tasks. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential in this role, with creativity to explore innovative solutions to complex challenges. Ability to maintain productivity standards while actively promoting patient participation, follow-through, and continued engagement in services.
