Position Summary Cognitive Balance Therapeutics is seeking an experienced and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Specialist Case Manager to provide therapeutic behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults enrolled in our behavioral health programs. This position works collaboratively with licensed clinicians to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings while promoting emotional regulation, positive behavioral change, independent living skills, and healthy social development. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving individuals across the lifespan, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, maintains accurate documentation, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced behavioral health environment. Must be able to transport clients. Schedule Monday-Friday 1:00 AM - 7:30 PM Year-round employment, including participation in our Summer Youth Wellness Program (The remainder of the job description remains the same.) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Education, or another behavioral science field from an accredited institution. Current Ohio Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) or Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS) certification is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or families in a behavioral health or human services setting. Must have Medicaid and NPI numbers Must have a valid Drivers license and valid insurance Must be able to pass BCI/FBI background check Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health or human services field. Experience working in community behavioral health, intensive outpatient, day treatment, or school-based mental health settings. Experience with Medicaid documentation and Ohio behavioral health regulations. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of child and adolescent behavioral health. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques. Ability to establish rapport with youth and families from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and behavioral health documentation requirements. Ability to maintain professionalism, compassion, and sound judgment during challenging situations.
