We provide individual and group therapy, as well as an afterschool therapeutic program for youth ages 6-14. We are committed to helping young people build emotional regulation, social skills, and resilience in a safe, supportive environment. Position Summary We are looking for a compassionate, licensed clinician to lead therapeutic programming in our afterschool day treatment program and provide individual therapy to youth clients. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is skilled in group facilitation, and is comfortable supporting youth with behavioral and emotional challenges. Key Responsibilities Day Treatment (Mon-Thu, 3:30-6:30 PM) Plan and facilitate structured therapeutic groups focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, social skills, anger management, and self-esteem Provide in-the-moment behavioral support and de-escalation for youth ages 6-14 Monitor and document participant progress toward treatment goals Work alongside program staff to keep the environment safe, structured, and therapeutic Individual Therapy Provide individual therapy to youth clients as scheduled Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Use evidence-based approaches appropriate for children and adolescents (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play-based or trauma-informed interventions) Engage and communicate with parents and caregivers about progress and home strategies Documentation & Collaboration Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation that meets Medicaid and managed care requirements Coordinate with families, schools, care coordinators, and other providers as appropriate Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and required trainings Follow all agency policies, HIPAA regulations, and ethical standards Qualifications Required Must have an active Ohio license as an LSW, LPC, LMFT, or independent licensure (LISW, LPCC, or IMFT) Eligible to enroll as an Ohio Medicaid provider (active NPI or ability to obtain one) Experience working with children and/or adolescents Ability to pass a BCI/FBI background check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience in day treatment, afterschool, or school-based behavioral health settings Training in trauma-informed care and crisis de-escalation Skills & Qualities Warm, patient, and energetic with youth Strong group facilitation and behavior management skills Organized, dependable, and able to meet documentation deadlines Culturally responsive and committed to serving diverse families

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
