Job Description

Recreate Behavioral Health of Ohio is seeking a Mental Health Group Facilitator to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The Group Facilitator is an individual with hands-on experience and knowledge in the treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions. The facilitator is responsible for leading both process and psychoeducational group therapy sessions. Additionally, the Group Facilitator participates in de-escalation and crisis intervention when necessary and communicates pertinent information to the primary treatment team as needed. Qualifications and Skills Master's degree preferred in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services field. Two years of work experience in the mental health field. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and group facilitation strategies. Responsibilities Collaborates with Clinical Director and Treatment Team to help develop and implement a comprehensive program of therapy, evaluation, and treatment. Delivers relevant and appropriate topics in scheduled group sessions. Completes all group notes accurately and in a timely manner. Documents all services provided in the EMR system. Maintains knowledge of company policies, procedures, and Joint Commission standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in all aspects of client care. Participates in staff meetings and provides training related to therapeutic services and mental health topics. Requirements Experience facilitating mental health process and psychoeducational groups. Successful candidate must submit to post-offer physical examination/medical history check and TB test. Must maintain professional license and certification required by state law in good standing.
