If this sounds like the change you've been looking for, keep reading… What we're seeking: Possession of appropriate license, registration, and/or certification in the mental health field. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in mental health-related field such as art therapy, recreational therapy, counseling, social work, or music therapy. Proficiency in providing mental health care tailored to the needs of different age groups, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria. Familiarity with DSM-V diagnosis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse team members.

Hours and compensation:

This is a full-time position with day shifts, evening shifts, weekdays, rotating weekends, and holidays. Compensation ranges from $27.25/hr (56K) to $37.53/hr (77K) depending on experience. Full benefits package included.

Responsibilities:

Perform therapy assessments and conduct group and individual therapy sessions with inpatient psychiatric patients of all ages. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Participate in cross-training opportunities as appropriate. Assess patient strengths and needs, and complete daily therapy schedules efficiently. Active involvement in team meetings and delegation of tasks as needed. Meet department productivity standards consistently. Conduct group therapy sessions with various psychiatric diagnoses, age groups, and developmental levels. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
