Job Description
SUMMARY:
This individual is responsible for the day-to-day treatment and programming for clients participating in Marriage & Family Matters Counseling and Education Services, LLC (MFMCES, LLC) treatment programs. Duties include client intake, assessment, linkage, individual, group counseling, case management, and educational presentations. A high level of professionalism and flexibility is essential for the individual to complete job responsibilities. Working under the supervision of the Clinical Director, s/he is responsible for designing and implementing client services in the southwestern Ohio area that address theMFMCES, LLC
mission and are provided in a manner consistent with the organization's vision and values. This is a contract position with hours, and schedule established to complete required duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain and promote a healthy lifestyle and adhere to productivity requirements and procedures as defined by management staff. 2. Complete assessments and intake procedures for client admission when requested. 3. Maintain minimum of 50% productivity. 4. Identify and evaluate an individual's strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences (S-N-A-P) for the development of an individualized service plan and on-going monitoring of progress. 5. Facilitate client group sessions. 6. Provide individual client counseling. 7. Develop individualized treatment plan. 8. Provide case management services. 9. Provide crisis intervention services. 10. Present educational programs in a group setting. 11. Facilitate client referrals when indicated. 12. Facilitate consultation with other professionals when indicated. 13. Complete required client record documentation within the specified time period. 14. Participate in regular client staffing with appropriate treatment facility staff. 15. Develop and maintain liaisons with organizations to assist clients with accessibility to community resources. 16. Present community education and awareness programs to the public at the request of the Owner. 17. Orient clients to guidelines governing the program. 18. Work flexible hours depending on client care and programmatic needs. 19. To adhere to all procedures, policies and guidelines related. 20. Adhere to all Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, CARF and other governing body's protocols for care. 21. Perform other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES

Knowledge and ability to intervene with crisis situations and assist clients in resolving problems that may impede recovery. 6. Demonstrate ability to provide leadership and assistance to other treatment staff to ensure high quality service to clients. 7. Demonstrate ability to maintain credential / license and provide documentation for personnel. 8. Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with other departments and ensure coordination of services in the best interest of the clients and efficient outcomes for the agency. 9. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 10. Ability to write clear, concise, accurate notes, and compliance with all confidentiality laws and standards. 11. The ability to adapt quickly to clients' changing needs. 12. Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team approach to treatment.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs other duties as deemed as necessary and appropriate by supervisor and the Owner.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or other closely related human service field. 2. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Ohio in psychology, social work or professional counseling or license eligible. 3. Demonstrated working knowledge mental health, chemical dependency and recovery. 4. Demonstrated understanding of the continuum of client care and the transition/placement in the various phases of treatment. 5. Demonstrated working knowledge of client confidentiality and client rights. 6. Demonstrated computer proficiency and literacy. 7. CPR and First Aid trained and crisis intervention (CPI) trained. 8. Must have demonstrated extensive experience in the treatment and care of clients who have mental health, substance abuse or trauma related issues and/or children who have experienced these issues or child abuse / neglect. 9. Valid driver's license and insurance.ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
1. S/he must demonstrate a current knowledge of counseling and research findings and literature pertaining to alcohol/drug abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse/neglect and mental health issues. 2. The ability to effectively supervise and manage professional staff members. 3. The ability to assess an individual's need for clinical services. 4. Knowledge of state and national certification and regulatory standards. 5. The ability to complete accurate and timely documentation. 6. The ability to work independently. 7. Demonstrated knowledge of community resources and referral sources. 8. Must demonstrate the ability to effectively function as aMFMCES, LLC
team member. 9. Must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently. 10. Must possess and demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills. 11. Must demonstrate the ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in significant matters.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
1. S/he must be licensed to practice in the State of Ohio in psychology, social work or professional counseling.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
