Position Summary:

Responsible for providing individual and group counseling/therapy as defined by license. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning for all applicable clients. Performs comprehensive diagnostic assessment within the scope of license. Requires one of the following licenses:

Perform individual and group counseling through psychosocial intervention under general supervisionMaintaincase load andutilization by maintaining regular contact with clients Monitor and assess progress utilizing supportive methodsInterview and observe clients and prepare clinical reports and individualized service plansProvide family therapy according to established principles and best practicesProvide cognitive behavioral treatment, conducts assessments, individual/group therapyMay provide clinical direction and participate in providing in-service training to other treatment team membersProvides diagnosis independently throughin-depth assessment. Assess and select appropriate counseling methods in order to maximize treatment process and outcomes, both individual and groupEnsure accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities in compliance with contract, regulatory and agency requirements and clinical best practicesAdhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations and licensure scopeConsult with team members concerning situations and possible courses of actionServe as a license supervisor to select agency staff and/or supervise clinical interns as assignedCompletes agency, accrediting body, and funder required training Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Masters degree and at least one of the following licenses:

LISW or LPCC35years clinical counseling experience preferred
