In this role, you will conduct assessments, deliver individual and group counseling, and provide crisis intervention to incarcerated patients. You will collaborate closely with medical, psychiatric, and custody teams to create treatment plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and support rehabilitation and continuity of care. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to incarcerated patients Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans Deliver crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments Coordinate care with medical, psychiatric, and custody staff Document services in accordance with regulations and facility policies Support discharge planning and community referrals Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and correctional standards Educate patients on coping skills and wellness resources Contribute to a safe, therapeutic correctional environment Required Skills Clinical assessment Individual counseling Group counseling Crisis intervention Suicide risk assessment Treatment planning Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Knowledge of correctional healthcare regulations Case management Interdisciplinary collaboration
