As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will deliver evidence-based therapies and comprehensive assessments to help clients overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Your expertise will contribute to transforming lives through innovative counseling approaches and collaborative case management. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments to establish accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Provide couple sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Deliver specialized counseling for family dynamics, including grief counseling, trauma recovery (PTSD care) and gender issues counseling. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability during urgent situations. Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, and behavioral health records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts, coordinate outpatient services, and facilitate referrals for inpatient or specialized care when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or clinical social work within outpatient or inpatient settings. Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic evaluation and billing purposes. Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention, behavior management, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and working with diverse populations. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, CPT coding for billing procedures, and HIPAA compliance. Experience with telehealth technology platforms and delivering remote mental health services effectively. Ability to perform patient assessments using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients in individual or group therapy sessions while fostering a supportive environment.
