Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and/or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or an individual eligible for licensure, to join our mental health team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide mental/behavioral health services in office or telehealth platforms, as well as, potential for this position to move into a partnership/ownership role. The ideal candidate will be energized by making a meaningful difference in clients' lives through evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic approaches and has interest in potentially becoming a partner/owner of this well-established counseling business with a great reputation in the community. As a therapist, will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and developing personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and resilience. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including intake evaluations, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient assessments utilizing the ICD-10 coding system. Provide individual and family therapy sessions employing various modalities. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure timely updates of medical records using appropriate ICD coding. Facilitate telehealth sessions utilizing the Doxy.me secure platform to expand access to mental health services across various populations within the State of Ohio. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in behavioral health practices and ICD coding updates. Experience Valid licensure as an LPCC or LISW or eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio; active licensure preferred. Proven experience providing psychotherapy within outpatient or inpatient settings; hospital experience is a plus. Strong background working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Familiarity with crisis management protocols and behavior management strategies across diverse populations. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding systems; proficiency in medical terminology and medical records documentation is essential. Knowledge of social work principles combined with clinical counseling techniques; experience with group therapy is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to utilize telehealth platform effectively while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
