Correctional Facility Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Healthcare Provider to join our team in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals in a clinical or institutional setting. The selected candidate will assess clients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide counseling and therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral health outcomes. This role is ideal for licensed behavioral health professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and behavioral health evaluations. Provide individual, family, and group counseling, education, and therapeutic interventions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on client needs. Establish measurable treatment goals and evaluate client progress throughout the course of care. Interview clients and family members to gather psychosocial history and develop appropriate interventions. Assess client responses to treatment and provide recommendations for continued care. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and interdisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate patient care. Participate in treatment planning meetings, case reviews, and program development activities. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare admission assessments, social histories, discharge summaries, court-related documentation, and other required reports. Coordinate referrals and follow-up services with community agencies, healthcare providers, and support organizations. Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support when necessary. Monitor treatment effectiveness and recommend modifications to care plans as appropriate. Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and required training programs.
