Mental Health Therapist

Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care Facilities Location:

Springfield, Ohio (Statewide opportunities available)

$75,000

•90,000 Full time. (Part time Available

•2-3 days a week) Brighter Day is dedicated to enhancing the mental health and quality of life of individuals in long-term care, nursing homes, and other residential facilities. Our compassionate and professional team serves diverse populations, including the elderly and subacute residents, addressing their unique needs with tailored, evidence-based mental health services.

Position Overview:

Brighter Day is currently seeking a mental health therapist (LISW/LPCC/LMHC/LMFT) for full time, or part time (2-3 days a week) at a skilled nursing facility in Springfield OH. Scheduling is flexible and no weekends involved!

Key Responsibilities:

Provider will see geriatric patients for inpatient therapy services. Knowledge of clinical work theory and practice, skills in clinical assessment, treatment plan development and implementation, group and individual treatment and case management. Provide for clients' needs in an effective, culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner. Other related duties as deemed necessary by employer or assigned facility.

Required Qualifications:

Master's in Counseling/Social Work or equivalent degree from an accredited university. Valid and unrestricted licensure in Ohio as an LISW/LPCC/LMHC or LMFT in accordance with the regulations of the state. Must be able to meet the credentialing requirements of the employer, Medicare and Medicaid and other payers as deemed necessary. Strong understanding of the mental health needs of elderly and subacute populations. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
