Travel Therapist Job Duties/Responsibilities Conduct individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy per program needs. Complete assessments, contribute to the master treatment plan, and ensure the discharge planning is complete as well as discharge summaries. Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients' functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients' treatment team. Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan. Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient. Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations. Travel Therapist Job Requirements:
Education:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work or counseling
Licensure/Certifications:
Must be licensed in the state of Ohio
  • will accept LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC Must have working knowledge of developmental and life stage and psychiatric problems peculiar to younger childhood (ages 3-7), middle childhood (ages 8-12) and adolescent (ages 13-18) populations.
Experience:
