Community Behavior Consulting is seeking a

LSW/LPC/LPCC/LISW

to work with children with disabilities in local schools. This position will be based our of Poland, Ohio location. You will work in collaboration with the ABA and school based team. The desired candidate : We are looking for employees that are creative, motivated, and committed to continual learning. The desired candidate would have training and/or experience in working with children with co-occurring disorders as well as training providing ABA interventions or collaborating with those that do. The desired candidate would have a strong record of collaborating with parents and school providers. The candidate should have a record of caseload management, efficient and ethical documentation practices, and ability to manage client crises.

Location:

Mahoning County Education and/or

Experience:

Degree from an accredited clinical mental health counseling or social work program At least 1 year experience working or interning with children with developmental disabilities, behavior disorders, or related conditions or willingness to learn License and/or credential based on the collegiate program or degree

Preferred:

Master's degree and independent license Have education and experience to understand behavioral situations and react timely in an ethical manner Knowledge of current methods and techniques of mental health services; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, parents, and professionals; competence in analyzing assessment results, designing appropriate individual treatment plans and behavioral programs, and monitoring progress. Experience developing positive behavior support plans and programs; experience teaching social interaction and play skills. Must be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility and desire to learn new skills and improve professional qualifications, and travel independently in rural/remote locations.
