Therapists (LCSW, LPC, LADC, or Under Supervisor) Position Summary Promotes consumer independence and community participation through creative planning, effective use of staff, management, and professional teamwork. Essential Functions Formulates individualized programs for consumer treatment and rehabilitation, using knowledge of drug and alcohol abuse problems and counseling and treatment techniques. Refers consumer to other support services as needed, such as medical evaluation and treatment, social services, and employment services. Maintains timely, accurate, and legible case records, including documentation of services provided. Maintains certifying credentials, including attendance at continuing education programs appropriate to population being served. Acts as a resource to consumers and counselors in developing treatment plans. Advocates with consumer for individual needs and desires, encourage staff involvement in the planning process. Ensures follow through on each consumer's established objectives and documentation of progress. Supports and advocates for consumer opportunities and success. Counsels consumers individually and in group sessions to assist them in overcoming alcohol and drug dependency. Counsels family members to assist them in dealing with and providing consumer support. Monitors consumer condition to evaluate success of therapy, and adapts treatment as needed. Performs intakes and assessments when necessary. Education and awareness on core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders to be addressed in training activities. Provides Psychotherapy Groups and Individual Sessions weekly. All other duties as assigned.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment, plans, progress, notes, and discharge summaries. • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards regarding client information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist (LADC, LADC/MH, LPC, LMFT, LCSW) • Prior work with substance use, and or occurring disorders is required

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit over long periods of time and be able to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk; use hands to finger, hands to feet, fill objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stop, kneel, crouch, or climb stairs, lift and or move items of 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have excellent command of English language and grammar, both verbal and written. Must be able to manually operate and use a computer. Must be able to clearly hear and understand telephone conversations.

Salary:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
