Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and treatment plans Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavior management techniques Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes and manage crisis situations with professionalism and sensitivity Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and treatment planning protocols Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines using EMR/EHR systems Engage in case management activities including patient care coordination, follow-up assessments, and discharge planning Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or chronic pain conditions Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to improve service quality and outcomes Provide telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms to expand access to mental health services Skills Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management Strong knowledge of crisis management protocols and experience working with individuals experiencing PTSD or other trauma-related issues Experience working with children, youth, pediatrics, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities Ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) and medical terminology for accurate diagnosis and documentation Skilled in intake procedures, treatment planning, patient assessment, clinical documentation standards, and medical records management Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation; telehealth experience is highly valued Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health including applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, addiction counseling techniques, and gender issues counseling Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor; experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is preferred Join us if you are passionate about making a positive impact through compassionate care combined with professional excellence.
