Our nonprofit qualifies for federal programs. About the Role You'll build authentic relationships with adults receiving behavioral-health services, offering encouragement, advocacy, and mentorship. You'll help individuals identify strengths, navigate community resources, and achieve personal recovery goals. This is a community-based position—you'll meet people where they are in their recovery journey. Responsibilities

• Build trusting, supportive relationships with adults in services
• Encourage participation in treatment and recovery planning
• Model healthy coping, communication, and self-advocacy skills
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources
• Maintain professional boundaries and accurate documentation
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and required trainings Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Oregon-certified Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS)
• No less than 2 years of sustained mental-health and substance-use recovery
• Ability to use lived experience professionally to support others
• Valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable personal vehicle (required)
• Comfortable providing services in community settings, including private homes
• Must pass a criminal and abuse background check

Preferred :

Experience in community-based behavioral health, bilingual (Spanish/English), and knowledge of local resources. Comprehensive Benefits Package
