Job Description

OUTPATIENT COUNSELOR
  • CHAMBERSBURG, PA OFFICE Currently offering evening shift differentials, weekly productivity bonuses, and sign on bonus.
This is a Monday through Friday position with day and evening hours (2 evenings per week). Roxbury is proud to be able to offer a unique opportunity to a skilled individual to be a part of regenerating the Outpatient Substance Use Program. A successful candidate will be a compassionate individual whom will put their clients treatment first, efficiently priority/time manage, and effectively offer treatment at the Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care.

Job Role and Responsibilities:
Maintaining caseload meeting the needs of the patients and following regulatory guidelines Ensure completion of all required paperwork (i.e. psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes etcetera) as outlined by regulation both accurately and timely. Provides evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate client success. Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions. Provides appropriate interventions to facilitate engagement of non-compliant patients.
Qualifications:
Education:
Master's Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field
  • OR•Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field and one year of clinical experience•OR•Associate's degree from an accredited college with a major in Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology or other related field and two years of clinical experience•OR•Licensed RN with 1 year of counseling experience in a health/human services field•OR•Certified additions counselor Roxbury's outpatient program specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders while using an integrated treatment approach for individuals with co-occurring mental health needs.
