As a DAS Psychiatric Counselor at Devereux/TCV, you will work with other dedicated professionals who want to improve the lives of individuals with mental health and other disabilities. What toExpect:
TCV is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and responsible person to join the treatment team serving adults with behavioral health challenges. Encourage individuals to meet their recovery goals, i.e., actively participate in treatment and therapeutic activities to enhance their lives. Monitor individuals' physical and emotional well-being, use de-escalation and emergency techniques, when necessary, Develop and teach strategies to promote wellness and independence. Collaborate with the treatment team including but not limited to psychiatrist, therapist, nurses and service coordinators. What Devereux/TCV offersYOU:

Qualifications:
Qualifications (must): (Note:
all required documents and tests paid by employer) Bachelor's degree in social/human services, or related field, required . Prior experience working in social services with adults with behavioral health disorders, highly preferred. 18 years of age or older required. Valid driver's license (Preferred) Agree to a PA state criminal history, child abuse record and FBI Clearance. Agree to a pre-employment drug screening, one-step TB and physical. Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
