Base Salary:
42,000-52,000 with bonus incentive. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs of students. Deliver individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. Implement crisis intervention strategies to effectively manage urgent mental health situations, ensuring student safety and well-being. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and case managers to develop tailored treatment plans that support students' social-emotional development and academic success. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and incident reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Facilitate behavioral management and conflict resolution techniques to promote positive classroom environments. Provide specialized services such as child & family counseling, addiction counseling, or working with children with autism or developmental disabilities as needed. Skills Proven experience in crisis management and crisis intervention within school or clinical settings. Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices including applied behavior analysis (ABA) and social work principles. Expertise in working with children with diverse needs such as disabilities, PTSD, or developmental delays. Proficiency in medical terminology related to mental health and patient care documentation standards. Excellent case management skills to coordinate services across multiple providers and agencies. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations for mental health conditions affecting children and adolescents. Skilled in delivering individual or group psychotherapy sessions utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, or Christian counseling approaches if applicable. Familiarity with special education processes and working within school environments to support students' unique needs. Strong conflict management abilities coupled with effective behavior management techniques to foster positive student outcomes.
