About Us Promont Wellness is a Joint Commission-accredited, PA DHS-licensed treatment center providing Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient programming for both our Mental Health Program and our Substance Abuse Program, including co-occurring conditions. We serve adults working through depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma/PTSD, and substance use disorders, including veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and first responders.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist to join our team! The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients in both our Mental Health Program and our Substance Abuse Program, including those with co-occurring conditions, across our Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient levels of care. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, supporting clients in their recovery journey, and promoting long-term wellness. Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients in our Mental Health Program and our Substance Abuse Program, including those with co-occurring disorders Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage family members in the recovery process Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with facility policies and confidentiality laws (HIPAA) Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including counselors, nurses, and doctors, to create comprehensive treatment plans Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Educate clients on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and stress management Provide crisis intervention as needed and refer clients to additional resources or higher levels of care when appropriate Ensure that all therapeutic practices align with the ethical standards and regulations of the facility and state laws Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities Attend and contribute to team meetings, case consultations, and supervision sessions Qualifications Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following, per PA licensing regulations: Graduate degree (from an accredited college/university) in a clinical discipline with a clinical practicum, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a recognized clinical discipline, including social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, or activity therapies, or Graduate degree in a clinical discipline with 12 graduate-level credits in mental health or counseling, or Current PA clinical license — LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist — with mental health clinical experience Because this role treats both mental health and substance use clients, candidates must also independently qualify under PA's Drug & Alcohol counselor requirements — meeting one of the following: Current PA physician license, or Master's degree (chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or related field), or Bachelor's degree (same fields) plus at least 1 year (1,820 hours) of clinical experience, or Current PA RN license plus at least 1 year (1,820 hours) of counseling experience, or Full certification as an addictions counselor (state or national certifying body) Candidates must also have: Cleared PA Criminal History Background Check (PA State Police) prior to start date Willingness to complete CPR/First Aid certification if not already current Ability to complete required annual training and an individualized training plan developed with your supervisor

Experience:

Previous experience providing therapy services in a mental health and/or substance abuse treatment setting Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders is highly desirable Proven track record of maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical and professional standards Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (Competencies): Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans. Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery processes. Crisis management skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite. High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and resilience in the face of challenging client situations. Schedule & Compensation Full-Time Position Monday-Friday 2 days per week: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM 3 days per week: 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Full-time position is salary-based Part-Time Position 3 days per week 5:00 PM-8:00 PM Part-time position is hourly-based Schedule and compensation may be discussed during the interview and are based on the position offered.

Pay:

$65,000.00 per year
