Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and clinical support to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to ensure accurate patient records. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, incorporating client goals, progress notes, and medical records within EMR/EHR systems. Facilitate intake assessments and coordinate case management activities for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, or developmental disabilities. Engage in clinical research initiatives to enhance therapeutic approaches and contribute to ongoing data collection efforts. Provide specialized services such as grief counseling, pediatric therapy, behavior management for children & youth, and gender issues counseling as needed. Experience Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities in clinical or hospital settings. Strong background in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavioral health interventions, and crisis management. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records documentation standards, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and telehealth therapy platforms. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or co-occurring mental health conditions is highly desirable. Knowledge of social work practices, addiction counseling techniques, psychopharmacology basics, and inpatient or outpatient care environments enhances your candidacy. Ability to perform mental health assessments using evidence-based tools while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and clinical ethical guidelines. Demonstrated skills in client communication, treatment planning, data collection for research purposes, and delivering culturally competent care across diverse populations. $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
