Starting at $53,000 per year (based on experience and licensure) Join Our Team Rivertown Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered mental health services in a supportive and collaborative environment where clinicians can thrive. This full-time position provides outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults in both in-office and hybrid settings. Position Summary The Behavioral Health Counselor will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges. The clinician will complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary providers, and maintain timely clinical documentation while helping clients achieve meaningful treatment outcomes. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and/or couples counseling using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, and other members of the treatment team to coordinate care. Communicate effectively with families, schools, community agencies, and referral sources when appropriate. Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensing boards and agency policies. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development. QualificationsRequired Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Current Georgia licensure as an LPC or LCSW . Active NPI number or ability to obtain prior to hire. CAQH profile completed or willingness to complete upon hire. Credentialed or eligible to become credentialed with commercial insurance carriers. Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records. Preferred Alabama licensure or willingness to obtain. One year of outpatient counseling experience. Experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Experience with integrated behavioral health or multidisciplinary treatment teams. Experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW) or similar EMR platforms.
