Job Description
About the Role Heritage Care Place is looking for a Clinical Therapist to provide immediate assistance to members of our communities and who is committed to providing culturally sensitive, compassionate, and person-centered care. The Clinical Therapist will provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults through in-person services (preferred) and telehealth. Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy and family therapy when clinically appropriate Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Establish treatment goals and deliver evidence-based, strengths-focused therapies Maintain accurate clinical documentation Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed Coordinate care with schools, providers, and families Uphold confidentiality and professional/ethical standards Qualifications Must be licensed in the State of Georgia as an LPC-A, LMFT-A, or LMSW Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills Experience working with families Experience with play therapy is a strong plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to cultural humility and serving diverse communities
