Coordinated Family Support (CFS) Supervisor-Bilingual FMRC Health Group — Los Angeles, CA Full-time | Exempt | $70,000-$75,000 per year, based on experience Lead a Team That Changes Lives FMRC Health Group is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Coordinated Family Support (CFS) Supervisor to help lead the next stage of that growth. As technology, AI, and disability services continue to evolve, FMRC is building a more connected, accountable, and forward-thinking model for delivering CFS services, and this role will work closely with our Executive Leadership Team to help bring that vision into day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on management position for a leader who can take ownership of a growing team, translate organizational priorities into clear systems and expectations, and inspire staff to consistently deliver high-quality, person-centered services. You'll supervise CFS Specialists, oversee daily program operations, reinforce workflows and performance standards, and help create a culture where accountability, innovation, and exceptional service go hand in hand. Provide formal supervision to a team of CFS Specialists through regular 1:1s, coaching, training, and performance evaluations. Participate in hiring, onboard new team members, and build a culture of quality and accountability — including addressing performance issues early and directly. Own program tracking. Maintain oversight of all active consumer cases — referrals, assessments, authorizations, reauthorizations, report deadlines, and transitions — so nothing falls through the cracks. Manage staffing and coverage. Oversee case assignments and service schedules, fill coverage gaps quickly when Specialists are out, and make sure every consumer receives their authorized hours. Ensure documentation quality and compliance. Review Needs Assessments, Plans of Action, progress notes, and Quarterly Reports; monitor the EMR for accuracy and timeliness; coach staff based on QA findings; and oversee special incident reporting. Track authorized vs. delivered hours and flag utilization issues early. Be the voice of families. Conduct Quality Control Calls with consumers and families, track concerns through resolution, and make sure services actually deliver on their goals. Coordinate with Regional Centers. Manage routine communication with Service Coordinators regarding referrals, progress, authorizations, and reports (as delegated by the CFS Director), and help keep vendor files and documentation audit-ready. Support complex cases. Help your team navigate Medi-Cal, SSI, IHSS, CalFresh, ACCESS transportation, and other generic and community resources. Strengthen operations. Identify workflow gaps, recommend improvements, and escalate significant issues to the CFS Director. What You'll Need Bilingual English/Spanish (required) Bachelor's degree in a human services (required), 3+ years in the developmental disabilities service delivery system 3+ years of management experience, ideally supervising teams of 10 or more Experience formally supervising, coaching, and evaluating staff — including holding employees accountable to clear expectations Working knowledge of the California Regional Center system Familiarity with generic resources (SSI, Medi-Cal, IHSS, CalFresh, ACCESS, etc.) Strong organization, written communication, and follow-through — you can juggle multiple staff, cases, and deadlines without dropping any Preferred (Not Required) Direct experience with CFS, case management, or service coordination Experience with quality assurance, documentation compliance, or audit preparation Experience with performance management (evaluations, corrective actions, performance improvement plans) About the Role The CFS Supervisor reports to the CFS Director and operates with meaningful delegated authority over day-to-day supervision, staffing, quality assurance, and program tracking.
