In this leadership role, you'll supervise team CFS Specialists, oversee service quality and program operations, and help ensure services remain person-centered, organized, and effective. Provide formal supervision to CFS Specialists through regular 1:1s, coaching, training, and performance evaluations. Onboard new hires and build a culture of quality and accountability. Own program tracking. Maintain oversight of active consumer cases — referrals, assessments, authorizations, reauthorizations, report deadlines, and transitions — so nothing falls through the cracks. Ensure documentation quality. Review Needs Assessments, Plans of Action, progress notes, and Quarterly Reports; monitor the EMR for compliance; and coach staff based on QA findings. Be the voice of families. Conduct Quality Control Calls with consumers and families, track concerns through resolution, and make sure services actually deliver on their goals. Coordinate with Regional Centers. Manage routine communication with Service Coordinators regarding referrals, progress, authorizations, and reports (as delegated by the CFS Director). Support complex cases. Help your team navigate Medi-Cal, SSI, IHSS, CalFresh, ACCESS transportation, and other generic and community resources. Strengthen operations. Identify workflow gaps, recommend improvements, and escalate significant issues to the CFS Director. What You'll Need Spanish Speaking Bachelor's degree in a human services field, OR an Associate's degree in a human services field plus 3+ years in the developmental-disabilities service delivery system Experience formally supervising, coaching, or evaluating staff Working knowledge of the California Regional Center system Familiarity with generic resources (SSI, Medi-Cal, IHSS, CalFresh, ACCESS, etc.) Strong organization, written communication, and follow-through — you can juggle multiple staff, cases, and deadlines without dropping any Comfort holding employees accountable while supporting their growth Preferred (Not Required) 3+ years of management experience, ideally supervising teams of 10 or more Direct experience with CFS, case management, or service coordination Experience with quality assurance, documentation compliance, or audit preparation Experience with performance management (evaluations, corrective actions, PIPs) About the Role The CFS Supervisor reports to the CFS Director and operates with meaningful delegated authority over day-to-day supervision, quality assurance, and program tracking. This is a hands-on leadership position, not a senior specialist role for someone who is proactive, organized, and dependable.
