Sunflower Counseling Montana, based in Missoula, MT, provides comprehensive counseling services both through Telehealth and in-person. Our therapists serve children, adolescents, and adults, promoting positive changes and growth using evidence-based practices.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate counselor/therapist to join our team at Sunflower. In this role, you will have the opportunity to focus entirely on the clinical aspects of your work while we take care of the business operations. We believe in promoting a healthy work-life balance, which is why we offer a flexible schedule that allows you to create your own hours and select the clients you work with. Our unique approach ensures that many of our counselors work just 4 days a week, with counseling hours amounting to half of what is typical in other agency settings. This structure enables you to balance your professional responsibilities with your family life and personal projects. We are looking for individuals who can commit to working 25 hours per week, which is considered full-time at Sunflower and qualifies you for our comprehensive benefits package. Requirements:

Must hold a valid state license as an LCPC, LCSW, PCLC, or SWLC. Ability to pass a background check. Capable of conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions. Proficient in completing clinical notes and required paperwork in a timely manner. Experience providing therapeutic services in various formats, including face-to-face and Telehealth. Provisionally Licensed Clinicians:

We are committed to supporting the growth of provisionally licensed clinicians by offering exceptional supervision opportunities. You will be paired with an experienced supervisor for weekly individual supervision sessions, receiving personalized guidance, constructive feedback, and mentorship to enhance your therapeutic skills. CEU (Continuing Education Unit)

Program:

At Sunflower, we are committed to supporting the professional development of our counselor community. One of our goals is to provide reimbursement and payment for a designated amount of CEUs. This initiative helps cover the costs of these trainings, recognizing that each counselor has unique specialties, skills, and interests. Continuing education is vital in our profession, enabling us to learn and improve our skills by attending trainings and acquiring valuable knowledge. We are here to support you on this journey!
