Work Environment This role offers the flexibility of a remote work structure, allowing you to balance personal and professional commitments while providing critical support to clients in the Dallas, Texas area and beyond. Utilizing innovative telehealth platforms, you will engage with clients through individual and group sessions, employing strategies that facilitate effective therapeutic outcomes. The clinic emphasizes a collaborative culture, where licensed therapists receive ongoing support and training, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, utilizing appropriate telehealth tools for comprehensive evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, focusing on practical goals and measurable outcomes. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions through virtual means, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, case managers, and peer support specialists, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Educate clients and their families about mental health concepts, promoting understanding and active participation in the treatment process. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, seeking support for a myriad of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, allowing you to apply and enhance your cultural competence while addressing the unique needs of each individual. Qualifications A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field. Demonstrated specialized training or extensive experience in clinical mental health counseling. Strong familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating various mental health disorders, allowing for a versatile approach to therapy. Exceptional therapeutic skills to build rapport and motivate clients throughout their recovery journeys. Excellent communication abilities and teamwork skills, which will facilitate effective collaboration with the treatment team. Preferred Experience Prior teletherapy experience is advantageous, demonstrating adaptability to online counseling methodologies. Experience working with marginalized or underserved populations, enhancing inclusivity in mental health care delivery. Knowledge of the latest research and innovations in mental health treatments, fostering a culture of continual improvement.
