Work Environment This position is entirely remote, making it essential for you to be comfortable with virtual communication and digital health records. Our telehealth setting not only offers flexibility in work-life balance but also requires proficiency in utilizing telehealth technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Working remotely, our team collaborates regularly through virtual meetings, online training, and case consultations to ensure seamless patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments that focus on understanding the unique cultural contexts and experiences of each patient to tailor treatment plans effectively. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are informed by current research and best practices, taking into account the personal and cultural backgrounds of patients. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a variety of mental health issues while fostering resilience and personal growth. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care while participating actively in case discussions. Provide crisis intervention as needed, equipping yourself with the skills to manage acute mental health emergencies with composure and efficacy. Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, available treatments, and local community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care. Document all patient interactions and treatment plans comprehensively and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines. Engage in routine team meetings and cultural competence training to continuously improve service delivery and cultural awareness. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will directly impact individuals from varied backgrounds, including minorities and marginalized groups. This role is centered around enhancing the mental health and well-being of these communities through compassionate, individualized care. Each patient brings a unique story and set of challenges; your cultural competence will be vital in delivering effective therapy that resonates with their experiences. Qualifications A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington. In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity and responsive practices. Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy in culturally inclusive settings. Strong crisis intervention skills paired with the ability to maintain composure during challenging situations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with a diverse clientele. Preferred Experience Experience working in telehealth settings. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, enabling efficient documentation and patient management. A track record of continuous professional development, showcasing a commitment to improving therapeutic techniques and cultural understanding. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
