Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse array of clients seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Your role will involve developing therapeutic alliances that empower clients to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, demonstrating a strong competence in individual and group therapy. Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and the ability to adapt them to meet the distinct needs of clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and familiarity with other relevant healthcare technologies. Preferred Experience Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary starting from USD 80,000 and can reach up to USD 100,000, depending on your caseload and experience.
