Mental Health Group Facilitator (In-Person & Virtual)

$60 - $75 per hour

1099 About Bishop Health Bishop Health is a growing outpatient behavioral health program providing Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders. We are seeking an engaging, clinically skilled Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic groups in person and virtually within our treatment programs. Position Summary The Group Facilitator will lead structured therapeutic and psychoeducational groups focused on mental health recovery, emotional regulation, coping skills, relapse prevention, trauma, and wellness. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy group dynamics and thrive within a collaborative treatment team. Schedule Flexible scheduling available — daytime and evening hours may be offered based on programming needs. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Active Maine license required, including one of the following:
LCSW LCPC LMSW-C
(supervision available) LCPC-C (supervision available) Experience facilitating behavioral health or psychoeducational groups preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Responsibilities Facilitate structured therapeutic and psychoeducational groups Promote participation, engagement, and emotional safety within groups Document group notes and attendance accurately and on time Collaborate with therapists and treatment team members Assist with program activities and client support Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards Support a positive, recovery-oriented treatment environment Preferred Group Experience CBT DBT Trauma-informed care Mindfulness Relapse prevention Coping skills Emotional regulation Process groups

$60.00 - $75.00 per hour
