Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Family Support specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and monitoring the Individualized service plan (ISP), of the Autistic Spectrum Disorder clientele both in the home and in the community.

Credentials and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a human service related field from an accredited college or university. Minimum of one-year experience working with individuals with disabilities, families and/or service coordination

Duties:

• Ability to apply the provision of all behavioral health and related support services.
• Provide in-home or in-community therapy sessions for families dealing with various issues when needed
• Utilize crisis management skills when necessary
• Work with children, youth and families with autism

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience in applied behavior analysis
• Proficiency in crisis intervention
• Familiarity in-home settings
• Strong background in working with individuals with autism
• Knowledge behavioral therapy techniques Individual counseling/therapy Family counseling/therapy Group counseling/therapy Coping Skills Training Therapeutic Treatment Crisis Intervention Basic Living Skills Social Skills Therapy In-Home Intervention This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on families in need of support.
