Job Overview Path to Clarity Counseling is a growing, women-owned private practice in Avon Lake, Ohio dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered mental health care. We are seeking an independently licensed clinician (LISW or LPCC) to join our team as a 1099 contractor. We are looking for a clinician who values building genuine therapeutic relationships, providing high-quality care, and supporting clients in feeling seen, heard, and supported throughout the therapy process. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while also being part of a collaborative and supportive practice environment. Clinicians will have the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults presenting with a variety of mental health concerns. Duties Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy based on clinical interest and experience. Complete comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment plans. Provide evidence-based, client-centered interventions tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and insurance requirements. Complete progress notes, treatment plans, diagnostic documentation, and other required clinical records. Provide services through in-person and/or HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. Support clients experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other mental health needs. Collaborate with practice ownership and fellow clinicians when clinically appropriate. Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with Ohio licensure requirements. Manage a caseload in a manner that supports quality client care and clinician well-being. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Ohio LISW or LPCC license . Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Experience providing individual psychotherapy. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment planning, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and maintain appropriate clinical and professional boundaries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and client-centered care. Experience with telehealth is preferred. Professional liability/malpractice insurance or willingness to obtain coverage.
