In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to diverse populations for adults. Your expertise will support individuals facing mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment planning. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute situations effectively while ensuring client safety and well-being. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance and continuity of care. Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation, progress notes, and case management records. Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance therapeutic outcomes and contribute to best practices within the organization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, special education professionals, medical staff, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients with complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder or co-occurring medical conditions. Qualifications Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent licensure in your state. Proven experience working adults in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience with hospital or clinic environments is highly desirable. Strong background in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy (TFT), grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is preferred. Knowledge of crisis management protocols and crisis intervention procedures to support clients during emergencies. Proficiency in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, telehealth platforms, EMR/EHR systems, and HIPAA compliance.
