Licensed Mental Health Counselor Full-time | Concord, NH with statewide travel

Salary :

$88,000-$103,000 for independently licensed master's-level clinicians; $120,000-$140,000 for a licensed psychologist Provide timely, evidence-based counseling to New Hampshire National Guard Service Members and military families, with priority support for individuals who are uninsured or unable to access care promptly. The position offers meaningful direct-care work spanning adults, couples, families, children, and adolescents affected by military-life stressors. What you will do Provide direct individual therapy for stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral-health concerns within the clinician's licensed scope of practice. Deliver couples, marriage, and family counseling focused on communication, military-life transitions, and pre- and post-deployment reintegration. Provide limited counseling services to children and adolescents experiencing deployment-related stress, family transitions, or other military-lifestyle challenges. Manage an active clinical caseload; the Government's planning estimate is approximately 30 active individual cases per month per provider, but actual volume may vary. Suite applications, as required. Initiate contact with referred clients within required timelines and maximize direct in-house clinical care. When internal clinical capacity is exhausted, prepare a written recommendation for an external referral; do not initiate an external referral without required Government approval. Maintain strict HIPAA, DoD, NHNG, professional-ethics, and data-security compliance. Required qualifications Current, active, and unrestricted independent license in New Hampshire as an LCMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or psychologist. Training and experience providing evidence-based assessment, treatment planning, counseling, clinical documentation, and case management. Demonstrated competence serving adults and families; ability to support children and adolescents within professional scope and competence. Sound clinical judgment, clear boundaries, excellent documentation habits, and the ability to work effectively with military and Government stakeholders. Preferred qualifications Experience supporting Service Members, veterans, first responders, or military families. Experience with trauma-informed care, deployment and reintegration concerns, couples counseling, family systems, and youth counseling. Experience using electronic health records or military medical-readiness systems. Work environment and conditions Primary duty location is 1 Minuteman Way, Concord, New Hampshire, with travel to NHNG locations and events across the state. This is not advertised as a fully remote position. Availability to work assignments scheduled within the contract's Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. service window and to support up to 12 standard drill weekends per contract year. Ability to complete installation-access vetting, fingerprinting, PSIP/e-QIP processing, required DoD/NHNG training, and Common Access Card issuance if required for the position. Execution of required confidentiality, work-made-for-hire/intellectual-property, and media/likeness agreements for materials produced under the contract.
