This position places a strong emphasis on conducting comprehensive intake evaluations and helping clients begin their therapeutic journey. The majority of your caseload will consist of diagnostic intake sessions, with clients typically transitioning to one of our Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns (RMHCIs) for ongoing psychotherapy. For clinicians interested in carrying a small therapy caseload, opportunities for ongoing psychotherapy may also be available. The majority of sessions will be conducted virtually. Availability to provide in-person services one day per week at one of our Miami office locations is strongly preferred . Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic intake evaluations Develop treatment recommendations and connect clients with the most appropriate clinician Complete timely, accurate, and insurance-compliant documentation Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure high-quality continuity of care Provide ongoing psychotherapy for a limited caseload if desired Qualifications Active, unrestricted Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license Willingness to become credentialed with Blue Cross Blue Shield/Lucet and other insurance companies Strong diagnostic assessment, clinical interviewing, and case conceptualization skills Excellent communication and documentation skills A strong interest in working with identity-affirming issues , including LGBTQIA+ communities, relationships, sexuality, gender identity, and diverse relationship structures Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor position with a 70/30 fee split (70% paid to the clinician). Based on current reimbursement rates, clinicians can expect to earn approximately $70 per completed intake session , with earnings increasing as the caseload grows. Position Growth This is a slow-build opportunity , with referral volume expected to increase over time. Our team is led by Anna Halliday, LMHC-QS, CST, an experienced sex and relationship therapist and qualified supervisor. We specialize in anxiety, trauma, relationships, intimacy, sexuality, and identity exploration, and are committed to providing inclusive, evidence-based care in a warm and collaborative environment.
