Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions via video conferencing, engaging clients in an ethical and compassionate manner. Utilize evidence-based treatment methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assess and address clients' mental health needs. Develop comprehensive treatment plans that identify client goals, therapeutic approaches, and progress tracking metrics. Provide psychoeducation and support for clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and stress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other medical professionals, to provide holistic care to each client. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clientele will largely consist of stable adults experiencing low to moderate acuity mental health issues. The majority of cases will revolve around common emotional challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, stress, and bereavement. Qualifications A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York. A strong foundation in psychopharmacology, particularly as it relates to managing treatment plans for mood disorders. Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to forge strong relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. Preferred Experience At least two years of post-licensure experience, specifically focused on mood disorders, experiencing significant improvements in client outcomes. Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practices, particularly in CBT and DBT. A strong history of achieving positive treatment outcomes and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
