Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Overview We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team and help in providing mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. You will work in a warm and collaborative environment that values your skills and encourages professional growth. Supervision for diagnostic privilege is available. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing the DSM-5 to accurately identify client needs. Deliver individual and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) Knowledge of resources and ability to implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes. Maintain detailed clinical documentation and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed including social workers, medical professionals, school counselors and case managers to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor; Master's Degree in clinical mental health counseling Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy Demonstrated experience and willingness to work with children and their parent's providing services such as parent training, behavior modification, psychoeducation Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion while managing multiple cases efficiently.

Pay:

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
