Our team of mental health professionals collaborates closely to provide integrated care, including supporting those in recovery from substance use, managing chronic mental health conditions, and facilitating emotional and psychological healing. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Medical Director and/or the Medical Team Administrator to coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment strategies for clients both within our facility and through external referrals. Deliver in-service training to medical, psychiatric, and security staff as required, ensuring that the entire team is equipped to respond effectively to mental health issues. Intervene during mental health crises and emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions to help restore stability. Participate in commitment hearings as necessary, advocating for the best interests of clients regarding their mental health treatment. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for clients, employing evidence-based practices and tailored therapeutic approaches. Maintain meticulous records of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards to uphold confidentiality. Verify past patient mental health histories, including any psychotropic medications, to inform and enhance treatment strategies. Prepare regular and special reports detailing patient progress and treatment efficacy for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate with nursing and mental health teams to ensure seamless referral processes for clients post-release. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client base encompasses individuals facing mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to substance use disorders and trauma-related issues. We prioritize tailored, person-centered care, attending to each individual's unique circumstances. This role allows you to impact the lives of a considerably diverse group of clients, working within a multidisciplinary team that embraces varied perspectives on healing. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California. A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting where you have honed your therapeutic skills. Preferred Experience Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable. Experience with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms enhances the ability to perform efficiently in a remote setting. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 70,000
