You'll provide compassionate and effective psychotherapy, utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Your expertise will empower clients to overcome challenges, manage crises, and achieve personal growth. Join us in making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve! What you'll do Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients during critical moments, ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, and other mental health challenges. Facilitate family counseling sessions that promote healthy communication and relationships within families. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for diagnosis and treatment records. Engage in clinical research initiatives to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to the field of mental health counseling. Provide telehealth services as needed, ensuring accessibility for clients who may benefit from remote support. Basic qualifications Master's degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent credential. Strong understanding of medical terminology, behavioral health practices, and crisis management techniques. Preferred qualifications Experience working with children and adolescents in clinical settings or schools. Familiarity with art therapy, dance therapy, or other creative therapeutic modalities is a plus. Background in social work or experience with geriatric populations is advantageous. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques for working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
