Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive, evidence-based mental health services to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver psychotherapy, conduct mental health assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans within a supportive and collaborative environment. We are committed to empowering our counselors to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through innovative approaches and compassionate care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and intake evaluations to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or co-occurring disorders. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling services while maintaining clinical documentation standards compliant with HIPAA regulations. Engage in case management activities, including treatment planning, progress monitoring, and medical documentation using EMR/EHR systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or chronic pain. Maintain current knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing purposes. Experience Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent in the relevant state or jurisdiction. Demonstrated experience in psychotherapy modalities including behavioral therapy, social work, grief counseling, and addiction counseling. Proven ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations across outpatient, inpatient, or clinic settings. Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders, trauma histories including PTSD, and developmental disabilities. Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems. Strong skills in crisis management, behavior management, and patient assessment within diverse clinical environments. Knowledge of telehealth best practices and experience delivering remote mental health services using HIPAA-compliant platforms. Pay:
$51.47 - $56.85 per hour
