We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced, leadership-minded Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) to provide clinical supervision to our pre-licensed LPC Associates while maintaining a select caseload of direct client care. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) to help support our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling, with knowledge in supervising clinical staff, managing patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As LPC-S, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our mental health services. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision to licensed professional counselors-assoictaes and interns to ensure quality patient care and professional growth. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse client populations. Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT). Manage crisis intervention efforts and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to clients with co-occurring disorders, neurodevelopmental disabilities, or substance use disorders. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records, treatment notes, and compliance with HIPAA regulations using electronic health records (EHR) systems. Facilitate ongoing training on clinical best practices, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10), CPT coding, and behavioral management strategies. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with supervisor designation (LPC-S) in the state of Texas. Proven experience in mental health counseling with a focus on children, adolescents, and adults with diverse needs. Demonstrated supervisory experience with a strong understanding of clinical team leadership and staff development. Proficiency in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and working within hospital or community-based settings. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation and data collection purposes. Knowledge of behavioral health modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), social work principles, addiction counseling, child & family counseling, and trauma-informed care including PTSD management. Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities to foster collaborative relationships among clients, families, and healthcare providers.
