Description Position Overview Compassionate Connections Clinic is seeking a dedicated and licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team of compassionate mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their specific mental health needs, establishing individualized treatment goals. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, couples, and families to address various mental health issues. Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care and holistic support to clients. Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and training sessions, to stay current with evolving mental health practices and research. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Compassionate Connections, you will work with diverse populations, including individuals and families who often face barriers to accessing mental health care. Your clients may present a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties. You'll be instrumental in helping these clients navigate their challenges and improve their overall quality of life. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Washington is required. A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting. Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms to facilitate patient care and documentation. Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing practice in the mental health profession. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with a diverse clientele. Preferred Experience Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorder counseling, or trauma-informed therapy is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team, leveraging each member's strengths to enhance client care. Experience with culturally competent practices that address the unique needs of varied populations. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range of
USD 70,000
- 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. Eligibility for a substantial sign-on bonus upon joining the clinic.
