Oak Leaf Trauma and Wellness Center is a boutique practice in Monmouth County, NJ, specializing in trauma-informed treatment for adults and teens. We are currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated Licensed Psychotherapist or Pre-Licensed Psychologist to join our growing team. At Oak Leaf, we believe in doing meaningful clinical work without the burnout of a large practice environment. This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of telehealth and in-person sessions at our Freehold office, as well as some evening availability to accommodate client schedules. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and deliver individual psychotherapy to adults and teens. Provide treatment for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, and related challenges. Complete progress notes and other clinical documentation in a timely manner. Actively participate in group or individual consultation meetings.

Qualifications:

Doctoral Degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) or Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling (LCSW or LPC). A valid New Jersey state license to practice as an independent psychotherapist. Pre-licensed psychologists actively working toward licensure are encouraged to apply as well, and supervision towards licensure will be provided. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Availability for at least 12-15 hours weekly. No concurrent employment in another private practice.

Preferred Experience:

Training in trauma-informed treatments such as EMDR, ART, Cognitive Processing Therapy, or Internal Family Systems Experience working with complex trauma and/or maternal mental health If you don't have trauma-specific training yet but are eager to develop expertise in this area, we're open to supporting your professional growth.
