Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and professional Licensed Therapist to join our Christian counseling practice. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults in a virtual setting as well as in person based on client preference . Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical evaluations utilizing standardized tools and diagnostic coding such as ICD-10 and ICD-9. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, combined with Christian counseling. Provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions in person or via telehealth platforms while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Utilize crisis intervention techniques to manage urgent situations effectively, ensuring client safety and stabilization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), ensuring compliance with clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA standards. Keep license in good standing with BBS Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with advances in mental health treatment modalities such as psychopharmacology, ICD coding updates, and behavioral health practices. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) with active certification from an accredited licensing board. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or couoles. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and faith centered care . Experience working with co-occurring disorders, PTSD care, family/marriage conflict, and anxiety/depression . Familiarity with clinical research methods, medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, and ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9). Proficiency in telehealth therapy platforms and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations across age groups. Commitment to ethical standards outlined by clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations; ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and compassion.
