Insurance credentialing, contracting, and authorization Insurance billing, claims, and collections Appointment scheduling and Waitlist management Electronic health record support Dedicated intakes, billing, and administrative staff for support Office space, equipment, and routine supplies, as available Key Clinical Responsibilities Licensed therapist responsibilities include: Assessment and diagnosis — Conduct psychological evaluations, gather clinical histories, administer appropriate assessments, and develop diagnostic impressions when within their scope of practice. Treatment — Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate psychological interventions tailored to clients' needs. Treatment planning — Establish goals with clients, monitor progress, modify treatment when needed, and make referrals when another service is more appropriate. Client safety — Assess and respond appropriately to risks such as suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, or other urgent concerns, following applicable laws and professional standards. Documentation — Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant communications. Other responsibilities as required Required Qualifications Candidates must be independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland.
