This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and patient assessment within outpatient and telehealth settings. You will work closely with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, providing compassionate support and evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during emergencies. Deliver specialized services including grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed medical records using appropriate medical terminology and documentation standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management, behavioral health treatment planning, and clinical research initiatives. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to mental health services while adhering to best practices in virtual care delivery. Qualifications Valid licensure as an LSMW (Licensed Master Social Worker), LGSW (Licensed Graduate Social Worker), LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral therapy techniques. Strong knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation. Familiarity with working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities—including autism—and geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings. Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering services remotely is highly desirable. Excellent skills in social work practices, patient assessment, case management, and crisis management strategies. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while demonstrating compassion for clients facing complex mental health challenges.
