Job Description

Position Summary Ortiz Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Master's-Level Mental Health Professional to join our growing multidisciplinary care team in Orange Park, Florida. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient psychotherapy, diagnostic assessments, and evidence-based treatment services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. The ideal candidate is passionate about community-based mental health, possesses strong clinical documentation skills, and thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties Clinical Services:
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, formulate individualized treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care). : Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment goals and interventions as clinically indicated to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. : Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical records, progress notes, and diagnostic summaries within the practice's electronic health record (EHR) system in full compliance with state regulations and internal standards. : Provide effective crisis assessment, de-escalation, and stabilization support for clients experiencing acute psychological distress. : Coordinate care seamlessly with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, case managers, school personnel, and other external providers involved in the client's treatment network. : Participate in internal team meetings, case conferences, clinical supervision, and local community outreach initiatives hosted by Ortiz Wellness Center.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Master's degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related mental health discipline. : Active, unrestricted Florida license (or license-eligibility as a Registered Intern) as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychological Associate / Master's-Level Practitioner. : Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting, community clinic, or private practice environment preferred; strong clinical internship experience will be considered for motivated candidates.
Skills :
Exceptional interpersonal, active listening, and conflict-resolution abilities. Strong working knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) platforms and remote telehealth technologies. High standard of ethical conduct, strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines, and strong organizational skills.
